Are you looking for a PhD in another research area?
Each year we hire 50 to 60 new PhD students in 20 specialties in Physics, Chemistry or Geosciences. At Nantes Université, the Doctorate is a training of excellence which combines a research project in an internationally renowned lab, disciplinary and transversal training, scientific events and professional meetings.

Innovative photosynthesizers
Leyli Ibrahimli works at the Chemistry and Interdisciplinarity, Synthesis, Analysis, Modeling lab (CEISAM) as part of a thesis co-supervised with IT Madras (India). She is interested in the properties of silica nanoparticles.
The batteries of the future
Clément Meyssonier is carrying out his thesis at the Nantes Jean Rouxel Institute of Materials (IMN) and the Armor Battery Films company. He works on silicon batteries and won the public prize of the competition "Ma thèse en 180 secondes" in 2022 and 2023.
